WaterMark is a product certification scheme administered under the Plumbing Code of Australia. Any product used in a plumbing or drainage installation that could affect the health, safety or welfare of the building’s occupants must carry WaterMark approval before it can be legally installed.
Certification requires independent laboratory testing to confirm the product meets the relevant Australian Standard, followed by ongoing auditing of the manufacturer’s quality system. The WaterMark mark on a product is not a self-declaration — it means a licensed certification body has verified it.
